It has recently come to my attention that there are a few folks who are unhappy with the service that they've received at AGW, so I want to stress, if, for ANY reason, you're unhappy with any aspect of my work, please send me a text or an email and I will do everything in my power to remedy the situation.
My customers are the most important part of my business, without you the business means nothing.
That said, I can't fix the issue if I don't hear from you. I know that the time frame upsets some people, but that's one of the drawbacks to being a very busy one-man operation, especially when that man can't stand up or walk at times.
Hopefully, that situation has been remedied for at least the time being and I'm looking forward to spending more time in the shop working on your babies, but please understand that there are most likely guns in front of yours and more coming in every day, so a little patience and understanding is greatly appreciated.
It's almost upon us again, folks! Been trying to get as many guns finished as possible as time and my back allows, and you can literally feel the exitement from customers picking up their favorite bird guns!
Here's to everyone having a great, SAFE, season!
Folks, Monday the 6th of October is a very important day for you if you waqnt to keep shooting at the Abilene Gun Club North Range. At 1:30 P.M., the city Planning and Zoning Commision is going to try to shut it down.
I'm asking every person I can to show up to show your support. The range has been in operation for over 50 years and has been used to train APD, Dyess personnel, Sheriff's deputies, and countless other folks. It is also the ONLY long range rifle range in Abilene, so unless you want to drive for an hr. or more to go shoot, it is in your interest to go voice your opinion of at least be counted.
Well guys, as of 6/13/14 we will be New Orleans bound!
We will be back on the 19th, and I plan to be in the shop on the 20th.
I sincerely hope that you guys have a great week, but I'm betting that mine will be better, LOL!
Hey guys, time to get the ole bird guns ready for Dove season or just general use. I'm having a tune-up special for $50 consisting of a complete teardown, inspection, deep cleaning, lube, replacement of o-rings on gas guns, and waxing the furniture on wood stocks.
This special will run from today until June 1st, and free pickup and delivery is available in Abilene and the surrounding areas.
Thanks for your business!
Well folks, we are open for business, but our "official" opening date is Feb. 1. This is to allow me a few more days to finish getting all of the equipment moved around and installed in it's permanant locations, plus get my wife's laundry room cabinets out of my shop and into her laundry room (Happy wife, Happy life, right?).
Anyway, I plan to have some sort of Grand Opening bash in the next month or two, hopefully we'll see you there!
Keep your powder dry and shoot straight,
Well folks, I got some good news yesterday, the ATF agent is coming to inspect the shop and, hopefully, issue my license Tuesday morning.
Keep your fingers crossed and maybe send up a prayer or two if you have time.
Well, we've officially pushed back our projected opening date to Dec. 1st due to more government insanity. For those whove never applied for an FFL, let me tell you, it's an exercise in self control!
Picture this, the application form is readily available online, but nowhere is it mentioned that the fingerprint cards have to be mailed directly from the ATF distribution center. To compound this, the FFL application is a PDF, and there are four separate copies consisting of four pages apiece. The first copy can be filled out online, but the remaining copies have to be done by hand, and nowhere is anything stated about the fingerprint card issue.
Anyway, the application is ready to go, and the cards should be here by Monday or Tuesday, then comes the two month wait to be approved.
In the meantime, keep your powder dry and shoot straight!
This is where I'll be sharing my thoughts on topics that matter to me. Who knows... I might even share pictures, videos and links to other interesting stuff.
If I catch your interest, let me hear from you.
